Welcome to Keith Latman
Children who are growing up now are doing so with a computer in their lives. If they do not have a computer in their homes, they have one in their schools. During the day, teachers and parents work with young children to teach them the necessary computer skills. Older children are expected to be able to run a computer easily. When Keith Latman was starting in the IT business, life wasn't like it is today. Computers were more expensive, and not everyone knew what the internet could do for the business world or life in general. Keith vowed to change that.
Using his technological skills, Keith created a company with the simple mission of getting a computer in every household. By providing very inexpensive computers, the company hoped to show thousands how useful computers could be. Unfortunately, things went south, and Keith's company was ripped apart. Instead of slinking away, Keith stood tall and made sure that all of the mistakes that his company created were taken care of.
He took the lessons he'd learned from his first company and created RetailTRAC, which was an instant success. It was purchased almost immediately by Minow LLC. His next task was to create MicroPOS, which was purchased by Micros shortly after it debuted.
Keith now is the Chief Software Architect and co-founder of iMagicLab, a project that initially allowed Keith to help car dealers in the San Francisco Bay Area create their online sales departments. These days iMagicLab helps to ensure car dealerships around the country not only sell more, but also keep in touch with their clients. Keith has shown through his work at iMagicLab that he is not only a brilliant with the technical details, he is amazing with the business end as well.
Keith Latman is a man who faced adversity, won, and continues to make huge changes in the IT world every day.
